Hey everyone, I was just wondering: does anyone happen to know what the water requirements are for peonies?
Here's a tip for you: make sure you water it once a week or every 10 days. If it feels dry to your fingertips, just give it a little water. Just try to avoid soaking it or making a mess.
You can quickly tell when your plants need a little love and hydration by gently dipping your finger into the soil. If it feels dry, it might be ready for a refreshing drink. I like to give my beautiful flowers their special watering about once every 10 days.
Before you water it, I would suggest checking first by inserting your finger a couple of inches deep. If it feels dry, I think you should water it.
I have a beautiful coral charm peony in a 7.0" pot, and I've found that placing it in an indirect light location works well for me. I give it two cups of water every eight days, and it seems to be doing really well! I hope this helps.
